A Rainbow Garden

I realized that I never shared my finished Rainbow Garden wool felt on flannel quilt on my old website or on social media. Fortunately, my quilter (Marty Galbreath of HowYouSee Quilting) took some photos when she custom-quilted it. This quilt was such a joy to create, and it sparked my love of wool felt embroidery/quilting.

This was a block of the month program from Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shop, and the design is “A Rainbow Garden” by Heart to Hand. I do not know if the pattern is still available.

Here are closeup photos of each block, along with her quilting. I love how she quilted it – just perfect, in my opinion. We used wool batting and a flannel backing, so this beauty is warm!

Quilt back – pieced from two flannels – quilting stands out so nicely!
