Ready to tackle binding

I had an unexpected time open up to go ahead and do the work required to create binding for my Over the Rainbow quilt. So I pressed and cut my fabric to create the bias strips. I’ve taken the time to add an extra step that really helps me align the strips as I piece them together. I use the Mini Simple folded corners ruler to trim off the points on either end of the strips.

After I pieced them all end to end, I folded and pressed the strip in half lengthwise, and rolled it up in a nice little cake. Now I’m ready to attach it to the quilt!
