One block wasn’t a fluke

The last block I made with scraps from my older stash. This block I made with all new-to-me scraps. With the exception of the black grunge, of course.

I imagine that these tiny block quilts will be a bit heavier when finished with all of that extra fabric in the seams. But I tend to like my quilts with a good weight to them. They feel very comfortable for sleeping, especially in the winter.

I was organizing some of my inspiration photos recently, and ran across several other quilts that I know I want to make that have small squares and strips – maybe not as tiny as these, but small. In fact, I think I made another test block and it’s in a book with the pattern. I’ll try to pull that out so I can share it soon (and it will be a reminder to me to put it on my list).
