Well, I just don’t have enough space to take a decent photo of my Over the Rainbow quilt top at home – it’s about 104 inches square! So I’ll have to take it to my sewing group’s clubhouse and see if I can get a full-size photo on the floor there. But it’s done! And ready to take to my quilter. Of course, I need to piece a backing for it. 108 inches gives only 2 inches of room on the sides – at best – and I know they prefer 4-5 inches extra per side at the minimum.
I found a great grey and black buffalo check flannel – bonus, it was on sale! So as soon as it arrives, I’ll wash it, then piece it together, then get it ready to go be quilted.
