Have you ever had one of those days when, no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t get it (whatever it was) right? I had one of those days this week. Every time I pieced parts of the sashing together, I had to take them back apart. My brain just wasn’t firing on all cylinders, apparently. So I took a pause on trying to piece the sashing strips for Over the Rainbow.
Last night I took everything to my sewing group, and I finally got it together. Now the only thing that is missing is the final black border. I was originally hoping to get that all finished today, but it will have to wait while I get my new glasses and do a few other errands. But soon! I think I love it even more than I’d hoped, even not quite finished. Excitement is building!
