Last month it seemed like I stitched and stitched, and didn’t make as much progress as I thought I would. I forget how involved Chatelaine designs are. And this month there are two!

April’s called numbers are 7 and 10. That means Sea Quilt and Desert Landscapes Mandala should get a little bit of attention each this month.
I haven’t shared a photo of my last bit of progress on the Sea Quilt, whenever it was that I last worked on it, but I had started block 2.

I’ve started both the border and the lower right corner of the design, the Urchin. It doesn’t look like much yet, and I don’t expect to finish it in the month, but I’d like to make some nice progress on both the design and the border.

It looks like I’ve finished all of the stitching through Part 4 of this Mandala, so the upper right corner and the right scenic panel are both in Part 5. I’ll probably start with the upper right corner, which has a jackrabbit, butterfly, and some more flowering cacti, and see how far I get. I’ll need to pull this one into KnitCompanion, something I haven’t done yet, so that will take a bit of time to set up.
