I decided to pull out the Peaks and Valleys quilt and work on it at another Sit n Sew that I went to on Saturday. I didn’t finish all of the sewing there, so I did a little more last night.
In order to have the half square triangles on the straight of grain when set into the block, the pattern has you sew around the squares, all four sides, and then cut them apart on the diagonals.
One set of half square triangles is ready to be pieced into blocks. I just have to finish cutting and pressing the others now.
