I bought this yarn in 2016, intending it for just this project. I had seen the Guernsey Wrap knit by someone in similar colors (instead of just a single color) in 2015, and knew I wanted to do the same thing.
Well, even though I haven’t yet finished Shawlography (I’m working on the border now), I had an urge to go ahead and get this one started. It uses a woolen-spun worsted to DK weight yarn called Shelter by Brooklyn Tweed, and I love the look of it. It’s not much yet, but I’ll be alternating colors as I knit each section. The wrap will block out wider than a typical scarf, and I can’t wait to see all that texture.
