I hate when I don’t read and then re-read/confirm directions before plowing ahead. It gets me into all sorts of trouble.
I missed a crucial step when piecing this border together. The string pieced sections are about 2/3 of the length that they should be. That’s because I forgot to do some additional piecing and cutting before putting everything together.
When you realize that you have many more pieces left over than you should have, that’s usually a good sign that something went wrong. So I’ll be spending some time cutting these apart and inserting some additional sections of pieces into them. Ouch.
