I didn’t have much to do to finish up this block, which I started sometime in the past couple of years. I’m using a 28 count Cashel linen of undetermined origin and color (it’s a light minty/turquoise green), two strands over two threads.
The seahorses have Queen’s stitches in them, which is one of my favorite stitches, and there are Algerian eyelets and a Jessica stitch in the sea urchin. There are beads in the main design and crystal beads in the border (with a cube-shaped crystal bead in the urchin).
I’m using overdyed silks and DMC instead of Needlepoint Inc. silks (where they are solid colors).
