As I mentioned previously, last weekend Amy Beth and I basted our quilts. We both did some quilting on practice pieces to get a feel for the walking foot, and to get some idea of how we each might want to quilt our quilts.
This weekend there was a bit more practice, and she worked on stabilizing her quilt. Once she determined her quilting path for this quilt, it was time to get started. I’m probably as excited as she is to watch it all come together.
Meanwhile, I think I’ve decided how I want to quilt the sashings of my quilt (free motion), but want to practice a bit to make certain. Still haven’t decided how I’m planning to quilt in the block areas, but I’m hoping inspiration will strike before I’m finished quilting the sashing areas.
This picture kind of looks like I have Pinocchino’s nose. Haha!
Haha! I didn’t notice that until you pointed it out, and now I can’t unsee it. 😉
