While Amy Beth was over today working on her quilt (her rows are all put together, so next come borders, woohoo!), I worked on Grassy Creek. I got all of what I’m calling Part 7a finished, and now I’m working on Part 7b. I had to call it a day when I turned one of my pieces the wrong way and sewed it together (and didn’t even notice it until I had all the other pieces sewn together). I had been doing so well until then, it was just bound to happen. It’s a rare day, even for this experienced quilter, when I spend a significant amount of time sewing and don’t have to rip anything out. At least it was the end of the day and not the beginning. All in all, it felt like I accomplished a good bit.
