Slowly, but steadily, my friend Amy Beth has been making her rail fence quilt blocks, and she finished piecing them a couple of weeks ago. She pieced all of the blocks into rows, and this past weekend, she began piecing the rows together as well. It’s beginning to look like a quilt, and it looks really great! Pretty soon she’ll have her very first completed quilt top. Then we’ll get to work on sandwiching and quilting it. Exciting times ahead!
