I enjoy Sampler quilts because of the variety, and often because I learn new blocks and new techniques while making new blocks. I bought the book, “Blocks From the Past” several years ago and started this quilt in 2009. I decided to make it entirely from stash, and I wanted to follow the color suggestions. Some may be a little brighter than the quilt model, but I love pulling out my stash and trying to find just the right pieces to go together to make each little block.
