Apron pockets, flying geese

On Saturday Amy Beth came over to begin working on our aprons.

I pulled all of my white and off-white prints out for her to choose the ones she wanted to use for her flying geese. Once that was done, I began cutting the pieces for those and the background triangles.

While she pinned her pattern pieces to the fabric and cut them out, I worked some on piecing her flying geese patchwork. Then we set out to make pockets. In the photo, hers are on the right, and mine are on the left. Next weekend we plan to sew the pockets to the apron piece, and go from there. So exciting!
