We took a little shopping trip to Hobby Lobby Saturday, and found our primary fabrics, rick rack, buttons, and thread for making our aprons.
Amy Beth couldn’t decide which fabric she wanted to use for the main apron, so she went ahead and got two (and maybe she’ll end up making two aprons, who knows?). She will decide which one to use for hers after thinking on it a bit. I think either one would be nice (the mustard, top left, or the bees, top right in the photo below), and I love both of our choices.
I washed my fabrics and pressed them when I got home (I had to do laundry anyway, so the timing worked well). I also picked up some of that mustard, so who knows – I might make one using that fabric as well!
I don’t know if you can tell from the photos, but the mustard fabric and my gray print fabric are the same design, just using different colors. It’s amazing how they can look so different!
We’ll work on cutting out our fabric pattern pieces soon (I have the patterns cut out and ready to go).
